EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in social work, clinical psychology, or counseling from an accredited university.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Fully Licensed by the State of Michigan in the areas of social worker, psychology, or counseling. 
EXPERIENCE:
•	Professional licensure in the State of Michigan as one of the following: LMSW/LPC/LLP
•	MCBAP Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor (CAADC) preferred
•	Meets criteria as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) defined by the State of Michigan
•	Meets criteria as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) 
•	Meets criteria as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) defined by the State of Michigan
•	Minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading community-based mental health/substance use programming
•	Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in diagnosing, treating people with mental health, substance use and developmental disabilities
•	Valid Michigan driver’s license
•	Experience working in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services
•	Experience with broad range of age groups and disabilities, including children
•	Experience with persons with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder
•	Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, crisis assessment, and intervention techniques
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The ideal Supervisor of Crisis Services at Shiawassee Health and Wellness (SHW) is an entrepreneurial and visionary leader who is excited to help shape and expand our community's mobile crisis response system. This position offers an opportunity to build and lead a dynamic team focused on mobile crisis intervention and after-hours emergency services. The Supervisor will be self-motivated, highly independent, and committed to upholding excellence and accountability in all aspects of crisis care. Collaboration with internal and community partners will be key to ensuring SHW's mobile crisis program reflects best practice, innovation, and person-centered care. The Supervisor of Crisis Services is responsible to the Chief Clinical Officer or other supervisory personnel as designated by the Chief Executive Officer. This position is designed as an after-hours supervisory role and includes a shift premium to reflect the non-traditional schedule and critical nature of after-hours service delivery. The selected candidate will: 

Begin on first shirt (Monday - Friday 8a-5p) for training, orientation, and active participation in interviewing, onboarding, and building the new crisis expansion team. 

  1. Collaborate with supervisor and data teams to review service patterns and staffing needs to determine the most effective long-term schedule for the after-hours team. 
  2. Participate in quarterly reviews to evaluate progress and determine the appropriate timeline for transitioning from first shirt to their permanent after-hours schedule.
  3. Transparency and collaboration will be central throughout this process. The successful candidate's input and leadership will directly influence the structure and success of the expanded crisis response system.

RANGE OF PAY:
$65,260.83-$90,271.54
