Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist
EDUCATION:
Master's or bachelor's-level degree from a human services field.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Must complete MDHHS/Wayne State CARES Crisis Professionals training within three months of hire (40 hours including in-person skills day). Must complete 24 hour MDHHS child-specific training requirements within three months of hire. Valid driver's license required.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree requires two years relevant behavioral health experience; Master's degree requires one-year relevant experience. Must have at least one year treating or working with children, adolescents, and families in behavioral health clinical, educational, or crisis intervention setting.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
This is a grant funded, non-union position. This position requires working after business hours, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule. This position provides intensive crisis stabilization services (ICSS) as part of comprehensive crisis care continuum to avert psychiatric admissions and out-of-home placements. Responds to crisis situations within required timeframes, participates in 24/7 crisis hub operations, conducts mobile crisis interventions, and provides continuing crisis stabilization services. Works with individuals, families, and caregivers in community and home settings utilizing trauma-informed, recovery-focused approaches. This position will be trained during working business hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p, for up to a maximum of 6 months before transitioning to an after-hours schedule.
RANGE OF PAY:
$44,669.90- $57,177.45 annual salary, plus benefitsApply Now
