Contractual Master's Level Assessment Clinician

EDUCATION:

Licensed Master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, or counseling from an accredited university. 

Successful completion of course work, which includes concentration in areas specifically related to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, families, and adults with a clinical focus on mental health and systems theory, utilizing DSM V Criteria.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

Current requisite professional certification or licensure, specifically LMSW or LPC.
Credentials to provide substance use and integrated dual diagnosis treatment is highly preferred. 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 Shiawassee Health & Wellness (Community Mental Health) is seeking a qualified contractual LMSW or LPC for the completion of Biopsychosocial Assessments. The purpose of the Assessment Clinician will be to-conduct the initial comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, known as the Biopsychosocial assessment (BPS). The BPS will be conducted using validated evaluation tools to determine diagnosis of individuals served, determine the appropriate level of care and treatment interventions. The BPS is completed on site, face to face, at the Shiawassee Health & Wellness building. This position allows you to create a flexible schedule with the option of working remotely to complete the necessary documention.
