Clinical Program Support Specialist - Access

Associate Degree in Business or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
None; certified administrative professional certification desirable.
Training and experience in general office work, office procedures and office equipment.

Five or more year’s experience providing clerical support in a human services agency or multifunctional office environment.

SHW provides services to adults, children and families who have serious mental illness and/or developmental disabilities, and/or with substance use.  The Clinical Program Support Specialist provides a wide range of support to the clinical teams that provide these services. The Clinical Program Support Specialist to the Access Department and Emergency Services handles various departmental matters, as well as provides support, as needed, to specific projects or events.  These functions may include but are not limited to the following: reviewing and updating reports, data entry, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, recording minutes in assigned meetings, providing weekly status reports to service providers and supervisor, collecting and updating financial information during the initial intake process of individuals served,  supporting performance improvement initiatives and corrective action plans,  and other tasks that fall within the scope of support services.  The Clinical Program Support Specialist for Access and Emergency Services will work collaboratively with the Office Manager and financial department to obtain or secure necessary documents at the front door and within the intake process.  The Clinical Program Support Specialist shall be responsible to the Supervisor of Access and Emergency Services and clinical supervisory staff as designated by the Chief Executive Officer.
