Children’s Program Aide Part-Time Temp

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent, ability to work a flexible schedule, current and valid Michigan Driver License in good standing all required. Experience working with developmentally disabled and emotionally impaired children preferred.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Shiawassee Health & Wellness, an innovative Community Mental Health organization, is seeking an aide to work part-time, approximately 20 to 27 hours per week, providing Respite, Community Living Support and Home Based Paraprofessional Services to developmentally disabled and emotionally impaired children.

Responsibilities include providing temporary relief to the primary caregiver, assisting with the implementation of a behavioral intervention plan or behavioral goals, assisting home-based professional staff with implementation of the person centered plan, completing required training and documentation, and attending staff meetings.
