EDUCATION:
Master’s degree in social work (LLMSW or LMSW), counseling (LLPC or LPC), or psychology (LLP) with one year experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Licensed social work, LLMSW, LMSW, Licensed professional counselor, LLPC, LPC, or limited licensed psychologist, LLP
EXPERIENCE:
At least one year experience working with adults with a serious mental illness, preferably within a human services agency.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide individual therapy services to support adults who are diagnosed with a serious mental illness or have a
co-occurring (substance use) disorder. SHW is motivated to offer evidence based practices and opportunities
to participate on various teams supporting these practices may be available. Responsibilities include providing
direct services, assessing treatment needs, and making treatment recommendations upon completion of a
biopsychosocial assessment. Develop a comprehensive person-centered plan. Provide ongoing monitoring
of progress toward goals while assessing for risk and safety. The Adult Outpatient Therapist is responsible to
the supervisor of Adult Outpatient Therapy and OBRA Services or other supervisory personnel as determined
by the Chief Executive Officer.
RANGE OF PAY:
Clinical VI; $51,271.02 – 65,626.90
