Shiawassee Health & Wellness (SHW) is devoted to treating the needs of the whole person, not just behavioral health.
Our Wellness Team is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Anyone can call or walk-in to the Access Center located at 1555 Industrial Drive in Owosso. You do not need an appointment or a referral from your doctor.
If you are thinking about treatment and are not sure, start by taking the confidential online mental health screening. This brief screening may help you to decide whether what you are experiencing might be a mental illness.

If you have private insurance, please call the number listed on the back of your insurance card for information about behavioral health providers.
If you have Medicaid or Healthy Michigan, please call us at (989) 723-6791 and we will be happy to talk to you about the symptoms you are experiencing. A member of our team may do a screening with you over the phone or ask you to come in for an assessment.
If you do not have insurance, please call us at (989) 723-6791 to discuss your symptoms and situation with a member of our team. We may even be able to help you apply for Medicaid or Health Michigan Plan.
Regardless of your insurance, if you are in crisis, are having suicidal thoughts, or thinking of harming yourself or others, please call our 24-hour Crisis Line at (800) 622-4514 or walk into our Access Department located at 1555 Industrial Drive in Owosso during business hours.
