Self-Care

Self-Care Tips

Self-care means taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health. When it comes to your mental health, self-care can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy. Self-care looks a little different for everyone, it is important to find what you need and enjoy.

Self-Care Quick List:

  • Get active (and be creative).

  • Keep a routine.

  • Be sure to get the right amount of sleep.

  • Check-in with yourself and avoid burnout.

  • Take time to check-in with others.

  • Know when and how to get additional help.

If you need additional assistance for maintaining self-care and your mental well-being, please contact our office at (989) 723-6791.  Our crisis line is available 24/7.  Virtual and face-to-face appointments are available.
