Child, Adolescent and Family Therapist

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or marital and family therapy, and requisite license required. LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LMFT, LLMFT, TLLP or LLP is required. Two years of experience working with children and families is required. Certification in Parent Management Training – Oregon (PMTO) and/or Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) also preferred. Good assessment and broad therapeutic skill required.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Shiawassee Health & Wellness, an innovative Community Mental Health organization, is seeking a Family Specialist to provide in-home child and family therapy, intensive outreach, and case management services to children and families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing treatment plans, providing family and individual therapy, evaluating needs, providing parenting skills and psychoeducation, coordinating services, monitoring treatment, maintaining documentation, and working cooperatively.

RANGE OF PAY:

Annual Salary Range $44,542.90 – $57,014.93
