Valley Area Agency on Aging (VAAA) has certified resource specialists available to provide information and assistance on thousands of services and resources available for older adults (60+), persons with disabilities, and family caregivers in Genesee, Shiawassee, and Lapeer Counties.

Areas of assistance include housing, eligibility, and availability of government-funded long-term care programs, transportation, Medicaid/Medicare assistance, personal care, respite care, and referrals for prescription assistance. Depending on the information requested, a listing of the various services and resources, tip sheets and other materials will be mailed to the caller from our resource directory. You may also choose to fill out an online form to receive information and resources via email.

There is no charge for the assistance.
